Specialised fabrics that are designed for high light
control or extreme sun conditions form part of the
collection and the semi-transparent screen fabrics are
equally at home in the commercial or domestic
environment, allowing a gentle view to the outside
whilst still offering exceptional sun and glare control.
Decorative Scallops
A
selection of scallops are available to finish off the
bottom of the blinds in those rooms where a more
delicate appearance is preferred; soft waves or more
classically ornate shapes give the blinds an attractive
vintage touch.
Special Applications
Doors
& Pivot Windows
Our
Side-Guided option fixes your Roller Blind onto the door
or window frame, holding it in place and minimising any
light leakage along the outside edges. This option
presents an ideal solution for your swivelling windows
as well as for glass doors where privacy or sun control
is a necessity.
Blockout Blinds
Our Room Darkening Collection features an extensive
assortment of neutral to brightly coloured fabrics
available either with white or matching coloured backing
to the fabric. Special side channels are available to
reduce light seepage thus ensuring a high level of room
darkening with a blind that is tasteful in appearance
yet highly functional.
Internal Roller Screens
The serious side of the Roller Blind with specialised
heat control fabrics that control the glare but keep the
view and add that extra stylish finish to a functional
but attractive sun control option. Screen fabrics were
designed for commercial use where very specific heat
control criteria are the order of the day but designers
are putting them into even the smartest homes so that
the landscaping can be admired while the screen provides

Operation
The Luxaflex® Roller Blind is easy to open and close.
Even heavy Screen or Black-Out fabrics can be raised
without any effort. The operating mechanism and roller
are all concealed inside a stylish cassette that neatly
finishes off the blind.

metal chain operating system—a proven and reliable
control system, operating with minimal friction.
Full Electrical Operation
For greater

See measuring instructions. Note that t he fabric width
of a roller blind is always narrower than the opening
width, which leaves a slightly larger light gap than
most other blinds on each side; this should be borne in
mind when selecting the fixing method.
Dimensions
Roller Blinds can be supplied to very large dimensions.
There are limits to the maximum height and width, and
also the total surface area is bound by certain maximum
values. These maxima are also influenced by the fabric
selected. We recommended that you calculate the surface

Minimum & Maximum Sizes
The various fabric types all have their own criteria and
the information provided here is indicative of the range
of sizes that can be covered. Once a fabric has been
selected the specific data relating to that fabric can
be obtained from your Luxaflex® distributor.

The cleaning
